It’s that time of the year again. This year will be rather different for me since we’re participating with the group of only three people this time. To top all the the group consists of two women and me, so it’s majority for the women this year.

Now its time to get working on our entries for the compos. We haven’t exactly planned anything yet, and the party is in two months so we’d better get busy. I guess we could try to draft together one or two graphics entries, but considering the quality of last year’s entries we’ll be lucky to get even one on the big screen (which is the goal obviously).

I’ve been thinking, that since the word or in this case pen is free, we could try to put something together from our photos of our trip in Japan last december. Photomanipulation and drawing combined is a though nut to crack, but very rewarding if done right. Perhaps we could throw some pirates at it as well (the spectrial was a big event for the community this year)?
